Hello, I am 25 and have been thinking about getting braces for some time now. A few of my teeth are crooked and I have a gap towards the back. Other then the placement of my teeth I have healthy teeth and gums.
I wondering a few things. First is it too late to get dental insurance for braces or will dental insurance only cover kids to have braces? Also what is the process for getting braces put on? Does it hurt having braces put on?
If I get insurance do I get to see an orothodontic dental office right away? Or am I left having long term waiting periods? Any advise would be helpful thanks.

I have not been to the dentist in about three years because I did not have dental insurance. But since I just got a dental insurance plan that gave me free preventive care I went to see a dentist just the other day.
Where I was told that I have four cavities. I am not sure about this though. My teeth do not hurt me and I only went in for a free cleaning and X-rays.  Should I just keep my dental appointment to have the filling done or should I be getting a second dental opinion.

I am just wondering when you really should be brushing your teeth. I know people say twice a day once in the morning and once at night. But is it before breakfast or after. I am right now brushing before breakfast because I really do not like the taste of toothpaste so I eat to help get rid of the taste but is that bad? Should I be doing it after breakfast
