Low Cost Dental Health care for the disable

Monday, Nov. 15th 2010 5:01 PM

I am permanently disable and living on a very tight budget.  I do not get any help when it comes to my dental care unless it to pull out my teeth.  I need more dental care then that but can only spend about $15 a month for a dental plan.  Would buying a dental plan help me with my basic dental care?

Dental insurance for bad baby teeth on a three year old

Monday, Nov. 15th 2010 8:02 AM

My niece Grace is only three years old and her baby teeth have brown spots.   I think she has BBTD since I know my sister would let her have a baby bottle in her mouth all the time.

My sister is only 18 so I am the one that has been taking care of her daughter.   Since it seems as if my sister is not going to take any responsibly and get a job to take care of her daughter she came to me  when my mom just kicked her out of the house.

My husband told her we would take care of her daughter but not her she needs to find a way to help herself.   So right now we have temporary custody of my niece and I would like to get some dental insurance for her.   Can you help us with this

Saturday, Nov. 13th 2010 10:21 AM

I need to go in for a root canal and I am so upset about the process.  People that I talked to in the past who had a root canal done told me that it was very painful.  Back then I was just happy I did not have to have one.

Now I told I need to have a root canal done on a tooth with an old filling.  I scared I will be in a lot of pain.  What should I do?

Dental insurance coverage, Are night guards something that dental insurance will cover

Friday, Nov. 12th 2010 8:10 AM

When I go to sleep I some how bite the inside of my cheek.  I start to get a bump in my mouth because I biting the side of my cheek.   I went to a dentist that told me that wearing a night guard would help me stop this.

However when I ask how much would it cost to have one and I was told around $300.   That is just too high when I do not have dental insurance.  Are there plans that will cover at least 50 percent of the cost for a night guard?

This is a lot of money and even though they offer a payment plan during the course of treatment I would like to get dental insurance that can help me out some too.

Disabiltiy help need for low cost dental care.

Wednesday, Nov. 10th 2010 9:59 AM

I have a friend that is disabled due to an auto immune disease.   Therefore she can not work and is getting some disability assistance but it does not help for dental care.  She has a very bad toothache where the tooth is half gone and it needs to be pulled.

I help her call a two dental schools one near by one was a drive but she was willing to make it.  The problem is the schools we called will not take her because they feel she is too high risk.  The tooth is infected and they said she should see an oral surgeon. Where can she go for help with this if she has very little extra money.

How do dental discount plans like Careington work

Monday, Nov. 8th 2010 8:26 AM

They just seem too good to be true.  Do you really get the discounts for all dental services?  I been wanting adult braces and it look like I would get a dicount for that too.  Am I correct?  How do we get the discount?  Do we have to pay in full then get refunded or do we get up front.   Can you tell me how the Careington dental plan which is the one I am looking at works.

Help I have six dental cavites with no money

Sunday, Nov. 7th 2010 9:37 AM

I have six cavities and have no money to get the needed fillings.  My Aunt was nice enough to take me to the dentist and pay for a check up and cleaning.   But now I almost wished I never went.  Since now I know I have six cavities.

I can not have my Aunt pay for them too so I did not tell her about it.  However the dentist told me I should not wait to long about getting them filled since two are already pretty big. If I wait too long I may need to have a root canal.  I know I do not want that.  Can you please tell me were I can go for cheap dental care.

Dental insurance quote for getting a root canal

Thursday, Nov. 4th 2010 7:12 AM

I think that there is a good chance that I will be needing a root canal.  Right now I do not have in;surance and I have been shoping plans on line.   On the plans that are affordable they list the cost of a root canal but there is more then just one listed.

The same with crowns there is more then just one listed.  In order for me to get a quote and know what my cost is for a root canal and crown under a plan, how do I know which one is the right one.

Dental care and receding gums

Monday, Nov. 1st 2010 8:28 AM

My dentist will not believe me when I tell him I think my gums are receding.  I go to the dentist once every six months and each time I tell him I think my gums are receding because my teeth look longer.

He tell me everything is fine with my gums and teeth and will just do the basic cleanings.  I know that something up and he does not see it.  What should I do fix my receding gums this is really worrying me.
