Hello, I live in Westchester, NY, and I have a family of four without dental insurance. I have seen many dental discount plans, but I wonder if you get what you pay for with them since they are so cheap. Do you get much of any savings? I have yet to see any affordable dental insurance plans that I will go beyond cost to review plan details. What is the point if I can not afford it? I am looking for low-cost dental insurance plans that will help me save money on dental services.

Can you have dental insurances and a dental discount plan?  I live in CA and I like to get the Standard Life dental insurance plan with the 2000 max limitation since my dentist told me that was a good plan.

However I was also told that I am a good  candidate for invisaligns.  My dentist does not do braces but I can get braces at the place he is referring me to.  I called them and they said that they only a provider of the  Careington POS plan but that plan would give me 20 percent off.  I just not sure if I can get both plans or not.  I was told once that I could not have two insurance plans but not sure if this is the same thing.

I just got my benefits though my job.  I was told that my dental benefits will not cover for major dental work until I have it for one year.   That I really only could get preventive and basic dental care for right now.

I would like to know if I could get an additional dental plan to cover for any major dental needs that may come up until I had my work plan for one year.
