My son has two teeth are are badly decayed. He needs to have them filled and crowned until he gets is adult teeth in.  I am getting a quote for the dental work needed at around $425.00 and that is for cheep crowns.
Right now I do not have any dental insurance will getting dental insurance help me reduce this cost? I am not sure it the price the dentist is quoting me really high or not. But know I would have problems paying $425 right now. Can you offer some suggestions

I live in New Jersey and although I am not consider low income money is still tight for me like most people now a days. I do not currently have dental insurance but I know I have a good amount of dental work that needs to be done.
I do not care if I get a dental plan or a dental insurance as long as it is low cost and will help to greatly reduce my dental cost with no waiting periods. Please advise if you think you have a plan that can fit my needs.

I am in very bad shape and need major gum grafting care.  I am low income but I do have dental insurance for basic dental care. So my current dental insurance will not cover the gum surgery I need.
Are there any teaching hospitals for dental care I can go to that would either be very low cost to me or free? I am willing to drive almost anywhere but not sure how to go about finding places like them.

I am 27 and have not had dental insurance since I got dropped from my parents plan when I was 21. I live on my own now but I am very low income. Sure I do not have kids or anything but I still barely get by each month.
I have not been able to afford the dentist with out having dental insurance and my back teeth are really starting to hurt me now. I can not find any dentist in my local area willing to give me a payment plan. And I can not get one of the dental credit care thingy because I have bad credit.
Where is all the help for the poor? How can I get my teeth fixed if no one is willing to help me. Is there low income dental insurance plans I can get for this?

When comparing dental insurance with dental discount plans what are the real dental coverage difference? I shopping out my current dental insurance plan because it is costing me more and more each year and I only have a $1000.00 max pretty soon at the rate it is going it will not even be worth having at all.

I live in a state where dental discount plans seem to be popular. After all I already found five dental discount plans. I really do not care if it is a dental discount plan I get or insurance as long as it is low cost and will save me money of my dental services.
But how do I know which dental discount plan is the best? Is there one dental discount plan that stands out more the others? What is the best dental discount plan to get?

I would like to know if you can buy a dental discount plan and combine it with your dental insurance plan in order to reduce your overall dental cost even more.  I currently have a pretty good dental insurance but like most people would like to save more money of my dental services.
Will a dentist let you use a dental discount and your dental insurance. It would not only save me money but would help me not max my limit out as fast with my dental insurance plan

I am looking for a dental insurance plan on line and see website stating full coverage plans. What does that mean? I am asking because when I read the plans information it does not fully cover every dental services. In fact most only fully covered dental service is preventive but you are still left paying a co-pay for basic and major dental work. This leave me to wonder what is full coverage dental insurance?

I am shopping out my family dental plan. I am tired of paying $130.00 a month for dental insurance when for the most part all we are having is our basic dental care. Such as cleaning and office visits.  Even my family of four does not have dental cost of $1560.00 which is what my current plan is costing me on a per year basis. Can you offer me a better rate?

Right now both my husband and I have dental insurance though his job. My issue with it is that it only has a $1000.00 max limit per person. This is not high enough for our dental needs. What I want to do is get a dental discount plan that will help reduce the cost for dental services so that when the claims are submitted to our insurance company it may helps prolong how fast we keep maxing out each year.
My dental insurance lets us go to any dentist we want so that is a plus I understand that I have to go to plan providers under a discount plan. My question is before buying a dental discount plan, will I be able to use both like I want to ?

On your Golden West dental plan can I get a couple plan for my partner and myself? We have been living together for over seven years and we both would like to get dental insurance and though there is not much cost difference in couple vs two single plans it would be nice to get the lower cost couple plan. Can you advise.

I have dental insurance though the Miltary and to tell the truth it does not seem to be a very good plan for my wife’s dental needs. For me since I only get cleaning when I can it not a big matter but my wife does have more dental issues that our current dental plan does not seem to address.
Where can I get a dental plan either for just my wife or my wife and myself that is affordable but offers better coverages for larger dental needs. Thank for your time.

My husband has a child from a previous marriage. He has been order to get the dental and medical insurance for his son. Course we do not have an issue with that per say. He has his son on his medical insurance plan he gets from work. However since he does not have dental insurance he has to get a dental insurance plan for his son.
Still no real issues here. The problem is we wanted to get the Golden West dental plan since it offer good coverages for his son dental needs and it offers a low month rate cost for the plan. However is X is saying that is not good enough she wants him to get this PPO plan that will cost $68.00 a month since they will not let a minor be on the plan by his self.  I am mad as a wet hen that she is only doing this to upset my husband and to force him into adding her onto the plan.
I told him we will not get dental insurance like that so she has to be listed. Is there any PPO plans that will only write a minor on the plan so that we are not paying out so much for a plan he will not really use all that much.

I’ve been researching various dental insurance plans on line for weeks now trying to find a dental insurance plan that is really offers full coverage. Reimbursing back 100% of all claims made.
All I seen are plans that split their covers to something like 80/100 preventive 60/80 basic and 40/50 majors. That is just to give you an idea of the plans I have seen so far. However, I have not seen any plans that offer 100% for all dental services.  Where would I find such a dental insurance plan and about how much would something like that cost.  Thanks

So I have a dental PPO plan though anthem bluecross/blueshield that I get from my job. My plan states that I should be getting the preventive dental services for free or paid out at 100% which is the same thing.
Anyway before even making the appointment for my office visit, X-rays and cleaning I asked them if they accepted my dental insurance. I was told yes they did. When I got down their for my appointment I asked again that they did accept my dental insurance and was told yes again.
So I paid my $20.00 co-pay and had my preventive done.  Now I am getting a billing from the dental office wanting $110.00. I called them up about this and they stated my plan did not pay off the complete billing and $110.00 still due.
I called anthem to be told that I did not go to one of their provider therefore my coverages are lower. Not only that but the dentist rates was above a UCR fee so that is why they only paid what they did.  I do not get what is going on here! I was to get what I had done for free less the $20.00 co-pay. Why would the dentist office tell me they take the plan when they do not! Should I have to pay this bill? I feel that I got taken by the dental office.
