Dental insurance quote for two crowns.

Saturday, Sep. 4th 2010 9:47 AM

I have two old crowns that really need to be replaced.  I am in the market for dental insurance to help me out with my dental cost.  I would like a quote range for crowns so that I know which plan I should get.  How do I know what my cost is for crown replacements.

Going to the dentist with no dental insurance

Wednesday, Sep. 1st 2010 7:52 AM

I currently only have health insurance but it does not offer me any dental coverages and I need two teeth pulled.   I though that my medical would pay for having teeth pulled if they are bad but was told I have to go to the dentist.

How do I go about seeing a dentist without having dental insurance?

Cost for family dental insurance in Alabama?

Tuesday, Aug. 31st 2010 7:47 AM

My sister does not have dental insurance and her husband job does not offer dental insurance either. So I am trying to help her out a little since she does not have Internet access.  What is the cheapest dental insurance that they could get for the two of them and one child?

They would need dental insurance where their son can start seeing a dentist for his normal dental care.  A course something they could also use too.  Advise please.

Need a dental insurance plans that fits my dental needs.

Monday, Aug. 30th 2010 9:41 AM

I have no dental insurance right now.  I need to have a few filling and possibly a crown.  I do not have the money to prepay the dental and wait for a reimbursement from the insurance company.  I would also like a plan with no waiting periods for the dental services I mentioned.   Also I want dental insurance and not a discount plan.  My friend told me dental discount plans are a rib off.

Comparing Dental discount pland to dental insurance plans

Sunday, Aug. 29th 2010 7:34 AM

I know I need to see a dentist since it has been over a year since I been last.  I do not get dental insurance with my job and been putting off going do to lack of extra funds.

However, I decided it is time to at least start looking for dental insurance.   I’ve googled  dental insurance plans but keep getting web sites selling discount dental plans.  Comparing the two which is better?  Should I just get a dental discount plan since there seems to be many of those compared to dental insurance

Dental Insurance, understanding how dental insurance works

Saturday, Aug. 28th 2010 9:24 AM

I am not sure I really understand how dental insurance works.   I have dental insurance PPO plan though my job but it does not really seem all that great to me.   I am thinking about removing it and getting just the medical.

My questions are why have insurnance if you are having to pay the dentist in full for dental services. I meen I know you get your money back but if I could afford to pay the dentist I would not need dental insurance.

Is buying dental insurance on your own different then what you get though work?

Friday, Aug. 27th 2010 9:57 AM

In the past I have always had my dental insurance offer to me though my employer.  However, I did change jobs and my current job does not offer dental benefits.  It has been a little over a year now since I been to the dentist and would like to get some dental insurance.   I am just not sure how dental insurance works when buying it on your own.  Can you advise me please?

Dental Insurance coverages and filing dental claim

Thursday, Aug. 26th 2010 11:03 AM

I have a dental insurance plan that lets me choose any dentist I wanted to go to.  So I went to the dentist that was locally to me.  I needed to have a root canal and crown done that was submitted to my dental insurance before I had any dental work done.

My dental insurance company came back saying they would be paying half the cost for my needed dental services.  So I agree to have the work done.  Only to have to pay in full and be told  I would have to wait for my money back from the insurance company but they would file out the claim for me.

I was upset but what can you do.  It has been over a month so I called my dental insurance company to be told no claim was filed yet.  I called the dental office only to be put off and told they would re send out claim.  I do not believe they sent it out the first time.  How can I make sure they file it a second time it is not like they care they have their money.

Dental insurance quote for Baltimore Maryland

Wednesday, Aug. 25th 2010 10:26 AM

Right now I live in GA and I will be moving to Baltimore Maryland in one month due to a job transfer.  I currently have dental insurance that I had to get on my own since my employment only give me medical however I called them and found out it will not transfer to Maryland when I make the move.

So my question would be what is a good dental insurance company that provides quality dental insurance for Maryland.  Cost of the dental plan is not a huge issue but I want to get good coverages for what I am paying for.  Options and advise please.

Why is my dental insurance deductible so high

Tuesday, Aug. 24th 2010 10:43 AM

I just got my dental insurance package that I get though work and I am trying to make sense of it.  I do not understand why it shows on the dental insurance that the deductible is $150.00.   When the medical insurance I get though work I only have a $20 co-payment per visit.

I do not get this $150.00 is about the amount I would have to pay anyway for my basic dental care.  What is the point of having money taken out of my pay check for dental when I have just a high deductible?

Monday, Aug. 23rd 2010 10:33 AM

I was reviewing all your many dental insurance plans you have for California zip 90024.  There seems to be many choices but I am not sure what would be the best plan for me.  How do I determine what is the best dental insurance plan?   I never had to buy dental insurance on my own before so I could use some advise on where to start.  Thanks

Dental Insurance, Reviewing my dental insurance plan

Saturday, Aug. 21st 2010 10:09 AM

I have been at my current job now for six months and I got my packet information about the available benefits.  I never had dental insurance before now and I have to let them know if I want both medical and dental or just medical.

The dental will cost me $20.00 more month to be taken out of my paycheck.  I just not sure if it is worth it or not.   It says I would have waiting periods for six months for basic and 12 months for major dental work what does that me?  I did my six month time period on my job to get the benefits…   It also says I have a $225.00 deductible I know what a deductible is but this seems high for dental insurance.   Would love some advise.

Avoiding scams when buying dental insurance online

Thursday, Aug. 19th 2010 7:16 AM

I never bought dental insurance yet alone dental insurance on line.  My insurance agent does not sell dental insurance and told me to look online for some.  It is a little bit scary and I would like tips on how to avoid any misunderstanding that will cost me money.  I know that Insurance companies have a way make you think their plan is really grate until you go to  use it and find out otherwise.

Tuesday, Aug. 17th 2010 8:39 AM

So I know I need extensive dental work to be done to get my teeth back in order.  However I also know there is no way I can afford to have any dental work done without dental insurance.  Will I still be able to get dental insurance knowing that I need so much dental work?  Or will insurance company decline me or increase their premium because of the dental work needed.
