I have dental insurance but I need my widom teeth pulled. Since my dentist can not pull them and I have to go to an oral surgeon I do not have coverage under my current dental plan. Do I need to have dental insurance that will cover for an oral surgeon in order to have my wisdom teeth pulled?

I do not know what to do. I have two small children and live on very little money. I use to get dental care though the state even though it was not much it did help me with make sure my kids teeth were taken care of.
I have been without dental insurance now for over eight months. I am worried about my children teeth going bad without dental care but can not afford to go to a general dentist without some help. Even the dental clinic are getting to be too over crowed and getting in can take forever if you are lucky. Please can you give me some advise.

I like your plans where it says I can choose my own dentist. Is that true I go go to any dentist I want? I called my dentist the office says that would send a billing claim to any I want but it would be on me if they do not accept them. I can I make sure that the dental company will acept a claim from my dentist?

My employer only offer dental insurance were I have to choose a dentist in their plan network of providers. I get this dental with my med so I am suck with it. However, I do not like any of the dentist that are listed in the plans network.
They are either dentist that i know are no good from experience and or though my friends.  Or they are in a location I would not want to leave my car parked for fare that I would not have my tires when I get out.
Are there any alterntives to what I have now? I want to be able to choose my own dentist one that does good dental work and has an office in an area I do not have to worry about.

I am a signal male that is 25 years. Full time student on my last year of schooling. I currently have no dental insurance.  I am looking for a dental plan that will offer full coverages as high as at least 70 percent.  I would want the dental plan to cover procedures like root canals, crown, extractions and bridges. I am not sure what I may need but I do need dental work.
I am willing to have a waiting period but no longer then a year for all services. I am trying to be a lawyer and it is important to me to have my teeth fixed before getting into the job market.
I have searched online but I can only seem to find cheap dental plans that cover only 20 percent for the type of dental work I think I may need.

My eight year old daughter is looking like she may need to have braces in the future. My current dental plan will only pay out 200.00 a year for four years. I guess that is better then nothing but not much better.
Is there any way I can get another dental plan for her so that if we do get her braces I can have better coverages or I will be able to combine both plans to get better savings off the cost of my daughter braces?

I want to stay with my current dentist and was told by the dental office that they only take dental PPO plans. I no longer have dental insurance only medical so I need to find a dental PPO plan that I can buy for just me.
Changing dentist is not going to happen. I have big time dental fears and so far this is the only dentist willing to put up with a 35 year old baby. She is very kind and it helps me a lot. I know that dental PPO plans have waiting periods my dental office told me but I should be fine since right now my teeth are good.
I want to know how to find the best dental PPO with the shortest waiting periods at the cheapest price and the best max limit. I would like something that is more then a 1000 year max just in case something was to happen. Please advise.

I am in trouble, I have very bad teeth that yes I have been putting off and putting off. I can not remember when I went to the dentist last. Only that I must have been a minor since my mom would have taken me.
Not given you my age I will say that is a long time. I hate the dentist. I hate going and have anyone poking in my mouth. I can not say I a scared of them I just do not like dentist in general. Well now I am paying for it. My teeth hurt me at least once or twice a day.
Although I do brush often my good friend told me my breath has been getting bad. I felt bad that she would say this but if it true then I have to do something. I need a dental insurance plan in place so that at least I will have something to help me with regard to the cost.  It can not have any waiting period since I have been putting this off way to long as it is.
Can you advise me on what would be a good coverage plan that will help me the best with major dental work.

I preaty sure I just cracked one of my teeth. I hear it when I was eating. I bit down of something hard then I heard a crack. It sounded like it came from one of my back molars. I have dental insurance though work but it is really only a cheap little plan for the basic dental care.
That as been okay up until now if I really cracked my tooth. Will I need a crown? my current plan does not pay out on crowns.  Where can I get a dental insurance plan that has more full coverages then what I have now?

When I am searching for dental insurance quotes how do I know I am getting the best rates? I have seen website that offering the what seems to be the same plan but with different cost for the plan. I am not understanding a dental plan could cost 25.00 a month an on another site the same dental plan could cost 15.00 a month.  If this is the cast how do I know I am buying the plan at the best rate?

I live in CA and I am a signal mom of one great five year old son. I work part time during the day while my son is in day care for a few hours. I have little extra money but that always goes to my sons care.
I do not have dental insurance though my son is cover under his fathers dental plan he has though work.  I would like to get an affordable dental plan. It does not have to be great just something so I can go to the dentist for my twice a year check ups. Keeping cost in mind what could you suggest.

I have been debating over whether or not to get a dental discount plan. It is with in my price range so that is why I think it would workout best for me. However are the dentist that take a discount plan any good? I was told to stay away from discount plans because dentist that take the plan are not really good dentist. Is that the case that you do not get the best dentist in a discount plan like you do in an insurance plan.

Looking for the best dental plan I can get that will offer me the most in coverages. Not just in what I have to pay but a plan has to offer. I do not want a plan the deos not cover for cosmetic services when that is the only way to fix your teeth.
It would be great to find a dental insurance plan that pays something on everything instead of having all the small print on what is not covered.  Is there anything like what I am looking for.

I have really stained dark teeth. Four years ago I was a heavy smoker. Now even though I quit smoking since then my teeth never got better. Do to my smoking my teeth are really nasty looking and even though I am much healthier and I changed for the better you could not tell that by my teeth.
I have been advise to see an cosmetic dentist. My general dentist told me that only a cosmetic dentist could fix up my teeth and get rid of the signs of my past smoking. I am looking into it but cosmetic dentistry is very costly and I have not found any dental insurance plan that covers cosmetic services. What can I get that will help me with the cost?

So I do get dental insurance though my job but it is very limited in it’s coverages. I only get one crown a year but I need three. So unless I get one a year it is not very helpful. I am looking for an additional dental insurance or plan that will help me with the other two remaining crowns that I need. Whatever I get I do not want it to have any waiting periods or I could just wait anyway so there is not point in that type of plan.  If it helps I live in MO

Hello, I just recently turned 21 years old. I go to school part time and work full time but my job does not offer dental only medical. I was on my mother plan but once I turned 21 they are dropping me.
Before I turned 21 I did go to the dentist were I was told I should have a root canal and a crown done on one of my back molars.  So I was looking at your Careington dental discount plan. However before I sign up for the Careington dental discount plan is there any kind of bad stuff i should know about it. I mean do the dentist really give you the discounts as quoted? I like this plan since it shows my dentist listed but just confirming that it really works. Thanks.

I do not care if I get dental insurance or a dental discount plan as long as I an get some help on the cost of having teeth implants.  Due to illness that I will not get into I lost most of all my teeth. I want to get dental implants and not dentures.
I have been looking on line for help but I am a little overwhelm about what is really available to me. So it is difficult for me to pick a plan that would cover me the most on dental implants. I would love if someone and help me find a plan that will help me the best for the services I need.

Tired of looking. I been trying to by dental insurance for myself on line but I an not really sure where to start. There are a ton of dental insurance websites that come up when you do a search but how do I know which one are legit?
I prefer to buy dental insurance from a website that offers you a forum and such were real people make comments and review.  My other problem is that the sites I have looked into say dental insurance but when you read what they are offing you find out it is a dental discount plan. Why is this the case? It makes the site seem like a scam. I am looking for true insurance from a ligit company. Thanks for any and all help.
