Dental discount plans California

Monday, Mar. 14th 2011 8:16 AM

Dental discount plans California. In California there are many good dental discount plans that are available. On our website we offer. Dental discount plans though Aetna, Careington and New Dental Choice. Dental discount plans are a good low cost dental plan option. They do not have many of the limitations that dental insurance plans may come with.

Many of our dental discount plans start within the next business day of your on line enrollment. Which is very good for those people that are in dental pain since they can see a dentist right away. Dental discount plans are not for everyone. But they are a good way to reduce all your dental needs at a very affordable cost.

When deciding between dental discount plans carefully review their fee schedules. The fee schedules show the discount prices on what you pay for each dental service listed. You also want to make sure there is a dentist in the dental plan you want to go to. Since there is no outside network benefits. I suggest calling the dentist listed and confirming they are still accepting the plan as well as new members.

Dental Coverages and Filing Claims Forms

Sunday, Mar. 13th 2011 10:04 AM

Dental Coverages and Filing Claims Forms. When you have a dental insurance plan where you are dealing with the filing of claims forms,  it is important to understand the claims process.  You need to know how your dental insurance company handles claims and how the dental office files out the claims forms.

Problems arises when you do not have a clear understanding of your dental insurance and how claims are paid. As well as when you do not know how the dental office is going to make you pay and how they file claims.

Many PPO plans or free choice of dentist insurance  plans state they pay out a certain percentage for preventive, basic and majors services. However that percentage is still normally up to what the UCR or MAC rates are for dental company.

Knowing that is important and it is a good idea to submit dental services to the claims department as a quote only before any dental work is started. That way you always know your true cost for the dental services before committing to it.

It is equally important to know how the dental office is going to file out your claim. Do not assume that the dentist will not charge you the full amount for the dental services.

Making you wait for your refund back from the dental insurance company. This is a mistake often made and normally it is after the fact. Causing many people to be upset. Ask the dentist what they expect you to pay and how before work is started.  Knowing all this ahead of time will keep you from any unexpected billings and from getting upset with the dental claim process

Dental Insurance quote and choosing the best dental plan

Saturday, Mar. 12th 2011 9:27 AM

Dental Insurance quote and choosing the best dental plan.  Depending  on the state you live in this website offer many different dental insurance and dental plan options.  If you are searching for dental insurance on line you will be able to review many different dental insurance plans and dental plan types.

So how do you go about making sure you pick the best dental plan for you and your family?   Well first you want to start with knowing your own dental needs and what you want out of a dental plan.

Such as if a person has a dentist they want to stay with, then finding a dental plan that the dental office takes becomes part of the decision factor. If you have a toothache today getting a dental plan that has waiting periods may not be the best way to address your dental issue.

If you are a low income family getting a high cost dental PPO plan may not be useful or affordable for you. Therefore looking at a dental HMO or dental discount plan may be a better option.

Make sure you read each plan terms and conditions carefully. Understanding what you are buying is very important. Getting help and asking questions about any dental plan  is a good way to make sure you are buying the dental plan that will work best for your needs.

Full Coverage Dental Insurance and what it means

Friday, Mar. 11th 2011 12:26 PM

Full Coverage Dental Insurance and what it means

When someone is looking for what they think is “Full Coverage Dental Insurance” it is important to determine what “Full Coverage” means to you. Because it can mean different things to different people.

So what does “Full Coverage” mean to me and many other people I talk to?.. Simply put:  I pay X dollar amount monthly (whatever that would be) and all my dental services are fully paid for. There would be no dental service render that would not be fully covered and I only have to pay the monthly cost for the plan. I have yet to find a dental insurance plan that works this way. However if you do I would love to know about it.

Most dental plans I know have  some if not all of these :   waiting periods for certain  dental services, maximum annul  dollar amounts,  deductibles,  preexisting exclusions and limitations, different coverages for inside and outside network dentist,  dental plan where there only network dentist.  Age limitations.  and these are just to name a few. It is so important to read the Terms and Conditions of any dental plan.

That is why when I do talk to people about dental insurance I never use the term “Full Coverage” What I do instead is to try and find out what the person feels are their current and future dental needs and try to fit a dental insurance or dental discount plan that will best addresses their dental needs.

My best advise when looking for dental insurance is to read, then read some more. Make sure you know what it is you are going to get from the dental plan in question. If there is still something you do not understand then call the company up and ask all the needed questions so you can feel good about the dental plan you decide to get.

Forget about looking for full coverage and instead look for a dental plan that will fit your dental needs the best. Some times in order to do that you may have to get more the just one dental plan you may want to combine plans that make the best sense for your needs.

We are hear to help you with any of the dental insurance and or dental plan that this web site has to offer in your state. If you have questions we look forward to your calls. So please call member services at 310-534-3444 CA time 8-5 M-F We be happy to help

Thursday, Mar. 3rd 2011 11:55 AM

Dental coverage under health care reform:  I think I must get the cheapest dental benefits. I get dental benefits from my job but it does not really pay out anything towards my dental services.

I really can not figure out why I am even paying for it when I know the cost that I paying for it is more then they offer me on any coverages they pay out.  Where were the reforms? I thought I would get better benefits like I got with my medical but it did not work out that way.

How can you go to a dentist without getting financially screwed

Monday, Feb. 28th 2011 4:48 PM

How can you go to a dentist without getting financially screwed:  Do I sound fed up well I would have to say yes I am.  It seems every time I do go to a dentist for a basic check up cleaning they are charging more and more.

The last time it cost me $400 for X-rays and a cleaning what the heck is up with this.  I know I live in CA and it can be costly here but this is a joke. I am so thankful I have good teeth because I would hate to have to pay for major dental service.   I am due again for a cleaning but I really do not want to pay this much any more.
