I been searching for affordable dental insurance plans for myself. I am a single 26 year old living alone on a tight budget. I am working 40 hours a week but my job only provides major medical benefits. I could afford to about between $35 – $40 a month but not more. I would like to have a low deductible with short waiting periods if possible

I mean what is a safe and secured website to get dental insurance. I worry about buying anything on line and if I have too I always try to place my order over the phone after finding what I want on line.
But the few website I been to either do not pick up the phone or never return my calls. I starting to think it is not a good idea to get on line dental insurance but I do not know an agent that sells only dental.

I been online all day staring at dental plans and I am at the point where they stop making any sense to me. A while back I enrolled in a dental discount plan but my dentist says I should get dental insurance for the procedures I will be needing.
Although the cost is not that big of an issue to me it more like where to find a dental insurance plan. My job doesn’t offer dental benefits. I’m an unmarried adult and I just need to purchase insurance ( I was told to get a dental PPO plan) that will be effective as soon as possible.

My work no longer offers dental benefits. So I am trying to find an affordable dental and vision insurance plan in Brooklyn, New York. Is vision included in dental insurance or do I have to buy two separate plans? I don’t want to spend more then $.30-$40 a month in premium for a dental/vision insurance plan. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have already gone on line and Google Individual Dental Insurance and found a few different dental plan options but the affordable plans that I see are dental discount plans and I really want dental insurance. However with that said with the dental insurance the monthly cost is more then I can really afford. Are there any dental insurance plans that would be in between the two affordable but still insurance?

I am looking for individual dental insurance or dental plan and I’m coming across insurance terms I do not quite understand. One of which is Six Month Elimination Period. I have no idea what this means. Is it the same as a waiting period? If so why have two different terms that mean the same thing.

I like to know what is a good individual dental insurance if I were to get braces? I have done some research and nailed it down to either DeltaCare and Pacificare Dental. So which dental insurance is better, or any other suggestions? Both are HMO plans, PPO plans I seen are either too costly for me or they do not offer adult braces.
Though I am concerned about the quality of the services as far as making claims and such. So I think either one of these two plans make work but like your feed back. Thanks.

I want a dental plan that will cover 100% of basic trips to the dentist office for your check- ups, cleaning, filling, etc. I lost my job eight months ago and have been without any dental insurance. I called my dentist office to ask what they thought was a good dental insurance plan that I could get.
I was told in order to stay with them I would need to get a plan where I can go outside their plan network of providers. I have had the same dentist for 10 yrs. and would like to stay with them, but I guess a lot of the individual plans have only set dentists you can go to. Does anyone know of a great plan that would be good for me to check into?

I do not currently have dental insurance, and my employer will not be offering any dental benefits. I seriously need to see a dentist, I have not been to a dentist since I last had insurance over four years ago.
However, I can not afford to spend much right now for the cost of dental insurance either. I need a plan that will cover preventive treatment, doesn’t have much of a waiting period, and will cover at least some of any major work.

I am a college student and do have some dental coverages under my parents dental plan. However the plan only up to $1500.00 per person per year. This will not be enough for me since I just found out that I will be needing to have all of my wisdom teeth extracted, as well as I possibly may need to have three root canals.
After my plan pay out $1500.00 I do not think I can afford the remaining cost. Would getting my own individual dental insurance plan help and what plans would be good?
