Dental implants is a costly dental service and after having dental implants you want to make sure you take care of your investment. Therefore you need to do your part so that the implant stays last for a long time.
There are many people have no idea how to care for dental implants. Some even believe that since they have an artificial tooth or teeth that they do not need to brush or floss it. This way of thinking is 100 percent wrong. Yes it is true that dental implants will not decay like our own teeth, however they can still be affected by periodontal (Gum) disease.

The prototype of the device works in a similar way to noise-canceling headphones but is designed to deal with the very high pitch of the dental drill. By simply plunging the device into an MP3 player or mobile phone, and then plug the headphones into the device, it allows a person to listen to their own music while completely blocking out the unpleasant sound of the drill and suction equipment. The patient will still be able to hear the dentist and other members of the dental team speaking to them but other unwanted sounds are filtered out by the device.
