According to a Study in the July issue of JAMA Children from states that had higher Medicaid payment levels to dentist were more likely to receive dental care.  Although children that are covered by Medicaid still received dental care less often the children with private dental insurance.

I am 30 years old and a hard working adult. Although I do work a full time job it does not offer any dental benefits.  Even though I do have a job I really only make enough to live off of and pay my bills.  My teeth are not terrible but they do need dental care I can not afford to have done. What low cost dental care plans do you have to offer that can help me?

In a study done by Joanna Bisgaier, MSW, from the Department of Emergency Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Dentists in the USA are much more likely to offer an appointment to children with private health insurance than those in the combined Medicaid/CHIP.

Out of 170 paired calls to 85 dental practices, 41 of them participating in the Medicaid program some of the results showed: 36.5% of Medicaid/CHIP beneficiaries got an appointment 95.4% of privately insured Blue Cross children got an appointment Of the dental practices that were enrolled in the Medicaid program, Medicaid/CHIP beneficiaries were 18.2 times more likely to be turned down for an appointment compared to the Blue Cross children

This is what I want.  I want to find a place that offer very low cost dental care but will also take dental insurance so that what I am left to pay is affordable for me.  I looking to spend around $20.00 to $30.00 a month for dental insurance if I can find a dental office that is not trying to over charge me all the time leaving me with still a large dental bill I can not afford.

I notice that there are dental discount plans that offer dental, vision and Rx there are HMO dental insurance plans that also come with vision, However I need a dental PPO plan to stay with my current dental and I have not found any PPO plans that offer vision benefits.  Do I have to buy two plans one for my dental and one for my vision? Or are there any PPO plans where I can have both and save money.

I only work odd jobs, though I make enough to get by I do not receive any major medical, dental, or vision benefits.  I can not afford major medical right now but I was reviewing some dental discount plans that offer dental, vision and RX they seem too good to be true but there are many of them so are they worth getting?  I like to have some of my basic health needs met until I can get a full time job that offer benefits.

I am looking for both dental and vision benefits.  I do not have either right now and I need new glasses to see with and I would like to be able to see a dentist about my teeth since it been a few years since I last saw a dentist.  I not sure if I have to buy two plans one for each or if there are any good plans that offer both.

I do not know what to do.  I have an dental HMO plan that clearly states that we can have two FREE cleanings a year. One every six months. However the dentist we are going will only let us have one cleaning a year. Stating that we only need one cleaning a year.  I have three kids all under the age of thirteen.  The cavities they get tell me that they need more the just one cleaning.

Also since my husband chews they refused to give him any cleanings unless he quits.  Now as much as I would like for him to quit he will not and I do not think it is fair of them to not honor the plans coverages.  They are the only dentist within 50 miles from us under the plan and I am not sure what to do about this issue.  Who do I need to contact to get my full benefits.

While I was playing touch football I knocked my tooth.  Now the tooth is slightly loose and I am worried it will fall out.  How do I prevent my tooth from fall out?  Is there anything I can do?  I can not get into see my dentist until two days from now since he is on a vacation.

I am 35 and my teeth are healthy but I do have two large size gap one on the top and one on the bottom.  Since these gaps are towards the front of my mouth you can see them when I smile.  I would like to fix this issue but I am not sure which is the best way to go.  Should I get braces and have braces for one to two years or just get veneers and fix the issue all at once.
