Smile for a Lifetime Provides Seven East County Children Receive Free Braces From Local Orthodontist.
In April of last year Dr Robert Sheffield, of Sheffield Orthodontics, formed a non-profit organization called Smile for a Lifetime. Through an application process, the Smile for a Lifetime local board of directors selects children from the local area to receive orthodontic scholarships providing treatment free of charge. The Program board looks for children between the ages of 11 and 18 who really need orthodontic treatment and who otherwise can not afford the cost of braces.
