Dental insurance, Online dental insurance plans.
Tired of looking. I been trying to by dental insurance for myself on line but I an not really sure where to start. There are a ton of dental insurance websites that come up when you do a search but how do I know which one are legit?
I prefer to buy dental insurance from a website that offers you a forum and such were real people make comments and review.  My other problem is that the sites I have looked into say dental insurance but when you read what they are offing you find out it is a dental discount plan. Why is this the case? It makes the site seem like a scam. I am looking for true insurance from a ligit company. Thanks for any and all help.

Well today is your lucky day. You are on a dental website that as you have notice as a dental blog for you to asking questions about any of their plans they have to offer.
Or really you can ask any dental questions and you will get some type of reply. Now I can not say what is available to you since I do not know what state you are in.
However all you need to do is key in your zip on the box at the top of the screen. That will take you to the dental insurance and plans they may have to offer you.
You will see some dental discount plans but in most states they also offer you a dental insurance quote as well. Just read though your choices.
And remember there is a member services line if you have any questions about the plan available.

Well many dental web sites will now offer both dental insurance and dental discount plans. That does not make them scams.
Dental discount plan have become very popular and are normally offer in all states. So even websites that sell dental insurance may still quote dental discount plans to give their buyers a choice.
I would just make sure that if you are going to a dental discount plan do so from someone who is a license insurance agent/agency. This is easy to find out since they will list their license number. Then you can check them out if you want with the department of insurance.
As an example if you put in your zip code in the box at the top of the screen and scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see were the insurance license number is listed. Although this web sit offer dental discount plans it also offers dental insurance.
This let you know that you are buying a plan from a license insurance agent compare to some Joe Smoe just selling a dental discount plan. Not to say that would be a scam just that if you want to have the higher level of safety this is one way to go about it.
